This photo shoot was one of the best times I have had shooting yet. Miss Juanita moved to Lubbock from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina destroyed her home and city. I felt blessed to get to know her and a little of her story. She is planning to go into modeling so I got the opportunity to shoot for some photos for her portfolio. We had such a great time! We started out the shoot with a retro vibe in a record store and I loved how they turned out! Then we took some more photos outside until we moved on to the last part of our shoot. Also a retro vibe but from a diffrent decade for sure! Who knows who we fashioned her after in the last “shopping” pictures?

Kat- These are SO FABULOUS!!! I realllly love them. Especially the ”Cat Stevens” one! lol She’s a beautiful girl, too.
